PRE-VOTING NOTICE:  The Association shall deliver by individual notice to members at least 120 days before the election or thirty (30) days before the deadline to opt out of Voting by electronic secret ballot.

OPT-OUT DEADLINE:  Member may change their preferred method of voting from electronic secret ballot to paper secret ballot or paper secret ballot to electronic secret ballot no later than ninety (90) days before an election.

CALL FOR CANDIDATES – Give notice for members to self-nominate to be candidates in the director election (must be completed at least 90 days before the conclusion of the director election).

Notice to Include

• The number of board positions that will be filled at the election
• The deadline for submitting nominations
• The manner in which nomination can be submitted

REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR CANDIDATES (must be at least 60 days before the conclusion of director election):

GENERAL NOTICE – Give general election notice by posting the following information (must be completed at least 60 days before the conclusion of the director election)

ELECTION MATERIAL:  Mail to the membership at least 30 days before the conclusion of the election and to include:

• Secret ballots and instructions
• Mailing and privacy envelopes
• Notice of date, time, location, website where the election rules can be found and any agenda for the member meeting
• Candidate and member election statements
• Website where the election rules can be found

POLL CLOSE: Ballots must be received by BELLWETHER by 5 PM (PST)
